Dr. Gloria Rogers is currently serving as a senior adjunct director for professional offerings at ABET. She is also the assessment and data analyst for Indiana State University’s physician assistant program and senior scholar emerita for the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association. She has been providing workshops, webinars, seminars and institutes for the development of continuous quality improvement of educational programs and institutional effectiveness related to strategic planning for over three decades.
Gloria has been an external evaluator for major science, math, engineering and technology initiatives and has served as chair of two national advisory committees and been a member of numerous review panels for the National Science Foundation. She has served as a reviewer for the Fulbright Senior Scholars program and has been a special editor for two issues of the International Journal of Engineering Education.
Rogers has authored assessment‐related articles, given invited presentations at national and international conferences and facilitated workshops/seminars on over 80 campuses. In addition to her local and national involvement in assessment and educational reform, she has given invited presentations, consultations and workshops in 31 countries including a Fulbright Senior Scholar assignment in Lima, Peru. In 2008, she was named a fellow of the American Society of Engineering Education for her contributions to the engineering education profession.

Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities Former Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Technology Arab Republic of Egypt Prof. Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, in addition to his role as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357.
He previously served as Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Technology during two terms, during which he was committed to supporting and advancing higher education development projects and expanding the sector. He also worked to strengthen the fields of science and technology, fostering the growth of emerging areas such as biotechnology and future sciences. Furthermore, he promoted the strengthening of research collaboration among universities, research centers, the business sector, and society, while actively encouraging the dissemination of scientific culture and enhancing public understanding of science and its importance.
Prof. Dr. Salama also served as Chairman of the Housing Committee of the Egyptian Shura Council. He was elected President of the Society for Administrative Engineering and served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Engineers Association. In addition, he is a former member of the Supreme Council of the Engineers Syndicate.
He also held the positions of President of Helwan University and Chairman of the National Research Center for Housing and Building, where he achieved significant institutional development during his tenure.
He obtained his Master’s degree from the University of Manchester and his PhD from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom. He is a Professor of Civil Engineering and has been awarded an honorary doctorate and the highest medal of recognition from Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as an honorary doctorate from Belgorod University, Russia.
He received the Scientific Excellence Award in 2006 and 2012, the State Merit Award in Engineering Sciences, the Engineers Syndicate Medal, and the Gold Medal of the Egyptian Engineers Association. He was also awarded the title of Honorary Professor by Lomonosov Moscow State

Dr. Jokha Al Shukaili is the Chief Executive Officer of the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA) and serves as President of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE). She brings over 24 years of experience in higher education, quality assurance, and strategic planning.
Previously, Dr. Al Shukaili served as Director General of Private Universities and Colleges at the Ministry of Higher Education, where she played a pivotal role in the development of the private higher education sector in the Sultanate of Oman. She has also held key positions within the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, contributing significantly to the development of quality assurance frameworks.
She has represented the Sultanate of Oman in numerous international forums and is an active member of several regional networks concerned with quality assurance.
In October 2020, Dr. Al Shukaili received special recognition, having been selected among the 50 most prominent Omani women by Her Highness Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah Al Busaidiyah, the spouse of His Majesty the Sultan, during the celebration of Omani Women’s Day.

Dr. Tariq Alsindi is a leading expert in quality assurance in higher education. He is Managing Director of EDU Concept Consultancy, Secretary General of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE), and Board Member of the European Council of Leading Business Schools (ECLBS).
Along his 36 years of experience in teaching, research and academic administration, Dr Alsindi served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Education and Training Quality Authority of Bahrain (BQA), and General Manager of Bahrain’s National Qualifications and Examinations Authority. He consulted on various national and international missions including UNESCO, the World Bank, and Erasmus Mundus projects. He also took part in numerous academic programs and institutional accreditation review teams for regional and international accreditation agencies.
Dr Alsindi received His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa Medal of Appreciation in 2017 for his contributions in serving the Kingdom of Bahrain. He obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Wast Anglia in the UK, and is a former professor and lecturer at the University of Bahrain.
Dr. Nadia Badrawi is an international expert in quality assurance and accreditation in higher education and a Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at Cairo University. Prof. Badrawi is a board member of the Advisory Council of the CHEA International Quality Group (CIQG), Trans-National Education Quality Benchmarking (TNE-QB) advisory board and the Global Pediatrics Education Consortium (GPEC). She also served two terms on the board of the International Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE).
Prof. Badrawi is a founder and is currently president of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ANQAHE). She is one of the first advocates for the culture of quality assurance in higher education at the national, regional, and international levels.
At the national level, Prof. Badrawi is a member of the Board of Trustees of Alamein International University (AIU). She is a board member of the Medical Sector Committee for Planning and Development and is chairing the reform of medical education at the undergraduate and foundation levels at the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities. She was one of the main founders of NAQAAE. As a Professor of Pediatrics at Cairo University, Prof. Badrawi served as chairperson of the Pediatrics Department in 2006-2007.

Professor Goski Alabi is a full professor, author, entrepreneur. and one of Africa's leading experts in quality management and leadership. She is the current President of Laweh Open University College, the first accredited open university in Accra, Ghana. Professor Goski is an academic, a consultant and an accomplished entrepreneur and author with more than 15 years of professional experience in academia, consultancy, regulation, advocacy and business.
Dr. Alabi holds a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry and a diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast in Ghana. She obtained a master of philosophy in Food Science from the University of Ghana, and a doctorate of business administration from the Swiss Management Centre. She also holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Central University of Nicaragua.
Alabi started her academic career as a lecturer at the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA), where she served as the founding dean of the School of Graduate Studies. In addition to her work in academic and education, Alabi is also the founder of GAB Foundation, an NGO dedicated to the cause of the vulnerable and marginalized in society. She also served as the West African representative for the African Council for Distance Education (ACDE) and the chairperson of the African Network for Internationalization of Education (ANIE).

Dr. Michael K. J. Milligan is the Chief Executive Officer of ABET, the global accreditor of over 4,000 college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology.
Prior to joining ABET in 2009, Milligan was a systems director at the Aerospace Corporation, leading a team at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center developing the next generation environmental satellites for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Milligan served over 24 years as a career U.S. Air Force officer working in operations, education, international research and development. During his USAF career, he served as an associate professor and deputy department head in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.
Milligan earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin, his M.S.E. from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, and his B.S. from Michigan State University — all in electrical engineering. He also earned an M.B.A. from Western New England College, is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado and Maryland, and a Certified Association Executive (CAE).
Milligan is also a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, IEEE Eta Kappa Nu Electrical and Computer Engineering Honor Society, and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Dr. Malena K. Monaco serves as Executive Vice President for Accreditation at the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), Washington, D.C. She brings extensive experience in educator preparation, accreditation management, assessment, and program evaluation. She has previously held leadership positions at Georgia State University, North Carolina State University, and the Georgia Department of Education.
Dr. Monaco’s work focuses on advancing high-quality accreditation processes, developing data-driven programs, and innovating advanced educational tools for teacher preparation. She holds a PhD in Research, Measurement, and Statistics, and has authored numerous academic publications. She has also participated as a speaker at many national and international conferences on accreditation and educator preparation.

Zeinab Amin has served the American University in Cairo (AUC) for almost 20 years and has held a variety of positions, including Professorships in Statistics and Actuarial Science, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies in the School of Sciences and Engineering, and Associate Provost for Assessment and Accreditation (current position). Amin is a member of the American Society of Actuaries (SOA), a certified actuarial expert at the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA), and a member of the International Statistical Institute (ISI). Amin is a peer evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and the National Authority for Quality Assurance & Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) and a member of ABET’s Academic Advisory Council. AUC has recognized Amin with its Excellence in Academic Service Award in 2016 and its Excellence in Teaching Award in 2009. As a faculty member at AUC, Amin has taught a variety of statistics and actuarial science courses, ranging from introductory courses in statistics and applied probability to advanced courses in insurance loss modeling, life contingencies, and enterprise risk management. Amin’s current research interests include quality assurance in education, risk assessment and management, and reliability analysis.
